The mobile website is more compatible with touch screen devices.

The old mobile website was optimized for devices that did not feature a touch screen or made use of a stylus. The current site has links, menu's and buttons that are large enough to be handled without having to zoom in.

It is possible to tweak the websites behavior to perform optimally on a specific device. There are different technical options. The best selection is strongly dependent on the devices capabilities and the browser that is used.
